Old Lady hit me in a parking lot :(
So it has finally happened to me. After 3 years of owning my tsx, it has finally received some real damage. Had my door open in a parking lot (no lines in the lot) and an old lady tried to park very close to me and hit my door while it was open...

I can close the door but it falls alittle when opened, I have to push it up and slam it. Def need a new door. In reality its not tooo bad it just sucks
Waiting to hear from the insurance company on how it'll be handled. I do not want to pay a dime.

Yea it was parked. I opened the door and went around the the other side of the car. She then hit the door while it was open.
Her insurance (State Farm) admitted 100% fault and is paying for everything. rough estimate is about $2300 so far. They said they'll pay for my rental too. anyone know who state farm uses for rental cars?

In my area (Southern California), it's Enterprise.
At least it has been when my wife's van (an Oddy) was hit on two different occasions. At least that is where they sent us to. Kinda nice - electronic billing directly to State Farm, we didn't have to pay anything to Enterprise and then have to wait to get reimbursed.
And count yourself lucky: My 83 RX-7 was *totaled* in a parking lot by an old lady. I went into a store, came out about 45 minutes later with a whole bunch of cops were around my car (and hers). She hit the gas instead of the brake and slammed into my car with an old battlewagon Caddy. Destroyed the rear hatch area of the RX7 and pushed my car into a pole. I really did like that car... it was fun to toss around and launch it at every stoplight. Oh well...
