Old backup camera died-thers an ICON TV SVC-X, new camera wont work?

This is an electronics question. TSX 06 Navi has some old crappy bullet shaped backup camera that died. I got up under the nav and theres an ICON SVC-X unit that is for video feed. The old camera was plugged into that. On their site this SVC-X costs $1600??!! WTH!

I got a new camera, plugged it in and no worky.

Camera is this:

I've done my bit of wiring and stereo installs, I'm just not up to date on what I would need to get this camera working.

Any thoughts?

For the 06 TSX you don't need any video switching unit to get a backup cam to work. The video unit was probably also switching a DVD player.

If all you want to do is get a backup cam to work you can use the input on the back of the Navi unit directly. Pull power for the camera from the reverse light. There is a thread that describes how it's done. I did it myself using a "Wendy Cam" from ebay. It works perfectly. I have a bunch of pics and been meaning to post them but I'm lazy!

I think this is the thread
