Ok what color for a girl?
Want the opinions of everyone on what color TSX I should get. I'm a 22 y/o female just out of college... love the car, but can't decide on the color. I like both silvers but the meteor more, I like Black and I like the red. What colors do you like... guys can have input too of course, but please state whether M or F....

What area of the country do you live in? Color can play a roll in your purchase depend on the area you live in. If I moved back to Northern Michigan, where there are 4' snow banks, I would not get another white car.

I'm in Evanston, IL... white would definitely not work for me.
I'm leaning towards one of the silvers or red... it actually will be shared by my fiancee... he says he doesnt care what color it is, since it is primarily my car, but he owns a Prelude and if we go on a trip or something it will be my car he will drive.
Is there a color of TSX that is more geared towards females? or is everything pretty unisex?

i could see gals in red or white...when i test drove my tsx, there was also a nice red TSX but it had already been purchased by some parents as a hs graduation present for their college bound daugther...but it was a 6spd so the dealer was prepping it for dealer trade in exchange for a red auto

25 year old male here. I think you'd look good in any of the following
Arctic Blue Pearl:
Meteor Silver Metallic:
Milano Red:
I think any of these 3 a woman would look good in and enjoy having a car in that color...

But in all seriousness, you should take a look at meteor silver metallic. It’s actually looks lighter in person than what you see in the picture above. It’s silver with a little powder blue, very unique, and for lack of a better word, girlish. Perfect for a princess.

27 year old male here.
I agree with Wiz -- Red (if Parchment interior works for you), otherwise MSM or Arctic Blue, in that order. Or how about a trip up to Canada for their interesting purplish-blue that isn't available in the states?

Seriously though, do you think my man would be embarassed to drive any of the colors listed?? Now I need to hear from men out there... ARE RED AND MSM MASCULINE enough? I think they are but what do i know.......

How about working your way *out* of the car?
Which color do you prefer for the interior? That right there will cut your color choices to a manageable level.
And since you'll be spending the bulk of the time looking at the interior (as opposed to the exterior, where *you* are seen in it...)
Me, I'm a y-chromosome kinda critter and I like the monochrome pallet; hence I went ebony inside--never a thought to quartz or parchment--which led me to the SSM (which is really a shiny light gray) exterior.
Just my normal backwards way of attacking problems, in case anybody cares...

I think Red is very neutral, MSM is definitely a female color, but as long as it's not pink, your man should be fine with it.
Hey larchmont, where is that mary kay pink TSX picture?

Male here.....
I think it depends on your personality. Red would be a very traditional girl color. The MSM is a nice color, sort of like a baby blue, new style. Black is just sleek and aggressive looking. The SSM is becoming very common, but still very nice color. I vote for the MSM.

For God's sake! Don't worry about the color. Just make sure every time you drive it you have the windows open, your hair billowing out behind you, and a knowing smile on your face.
No male will be able to remember the color.

Whatever you get, just always wear a head band (or tiara?) that matches. :P (I've seen several people get out of yellow cars with yellow sunglasses or t-shirts on.)

BTW, three of my closest friends from HS all drive red vehicles. The two girls drive red Honda coupes (1996 Accord and 2002 Civic) and the guy drives a 1999 Ford Ranger.
I think any color is fine for any gender... though the MSM has been called feminine on here several times. So it'd be a good one for a girl.
Oh.. and I'm 22/m.

Go with Meteor Silver Metallic with Quartz interior. It's a nice, cool color combination. A woman would look good in it. And, your man wouldn't throw too many fits when riding around with you or driving it.
Red is too loud, and I just don't see a woman in blue. White would be my second selection. Black with ebony is a good third choice. Don't get it if you or your man aren't really into washing and detailing cars, or if you only plan on running it through car washes.

I don't think any of the TSX's colors are gender specific or gender oriented. If you or your boyfriend are concerned about it, however, get a truly neutral color, such as Satin Silver or Carbon Grey. Black and white are also neutral.

OK, I'm sorry, but I have to pitch in my 2 cents here. What is all this talk about colors a "woman would look good in?" I don't understand it. If you're good-looking (man or woman), you're going to look good in the TSX no matter what color you get. On the other side of the coin, if your face looks like this: , no color is going to make you "look good" in it.
To the original poster, get whatever color you like best, period. Discuss it with your fiance if you want. Other than him, it doesn't matter what other people think. If you're undecided, let the interior color tip the balance. Red only comes with parchment, MSM only comes with quartz, blue only comes with ebony.

It really doesn't matter whether the original poster is male or female, the topic is still what color would be good for a girl, and I still think MSM is a girl's color.

Hey
The TSX in the Milano/EB combo is one sexy ass car...I would have gotten the red but I dislike the Parchment interior!
I've always said I'd get a blue car (my favorite colour, next to pink...of course) so I did, and heard all the jokes about my car being Royal Purple etc etc etc (Indigo Blue Pearl is only avail in Canada) but I don't business, "Its just a beep beep and occasional wave" to ALL them people chattin down my ride at the bus stop. (L.O.N.S. Sobb Story, I had to get that one in!)
But differently, pick what suits you best...just like Speed Demon said.

As usual, I have a different approach.
I agree it's a valid question whether or not the chick is for real -- but I don't see how people can propose (heh heh) to answer the Q without knowing anything about the person besides sex (heh heh).
FDL said he needed a pic -- in jest, but he's right. At least, IMSO (i.e. in my stupid opinion), we need to know eye color and hair color. (I'm serious.) Knowing about personality would help too, but this isn't a psychology site.
So: Sex? good. Eye color? good. Hair color? good. Personality? bonus (heh heh).
P.S. No wonder nobody's been on the Gray Davis thread tonight.
