OK, as we speak, im trying to change my Manual tran. fluid.....but WTF?

OK, as we speak, im trying to change my Manual tran. fluid.....but WTF?
i look at the manual but there is nowhere that mentions what ratchet size i need to loosen the filler bolt, i tried the same wrench i use to loosen the engine oil drain bolt but its too small, its a 17mm.......and the drain bolt on the transmission is just a big circle.... somebody help lol

Search the forums; there are many instructions. To take out the drain bolt you need a regular A 1/4" ratchet wrench WITHOUT a socket. There is a square hole for it in the drain bolt.

Unscrew two bolts: one on top of tranny near the air box and one on the side of the tranny near the left wheel. Both are 17mm I think. Then pour MTF into the top hole through a hose until it starts coming out of the hole on the side. It should take about 2 1/2 quarts. The car needs to be leveled of course.
