Ohh Man! HAIL!!!
My poor baby! I'm at work and a hail storm just passed by for 10 minutes! I'm at work in Arlington Heights, IL.
I looked and didn't really see anything but I'm pretty sure there's damage. I have to dry up the car to really see if there is damage.
I should have taken a vacation :'(

Yeah... Really depressed right now. If the hood is really damaged and the insurance company agrees to replace it, I'm thinking of going Carbon Fiber. What do you guys think?

Carbon fiber would certainly lighten things up! I hope your car is alright though.
I'm working up in Libertyville right now and I saw those dark skies pass by an hour ago... didn't even get wet up here.

Damage confirmed:'(
Large dings on my roof. Hood I think has 4 or 5. My trunk was hit too but doesn't seem to be deep. I'm not sure if the damage to my hood would justify a replacement. If adjuster says replace, I will definitely look into carbon fiber. I sent an email to VIS racing but have not received a response yet.
Any body shop recommendations? Can I take it to the dealership?

I am Ahab!
ah yes hail. The biggest enemy to the thin honda sheet metal. I had a paintless dent repair guy compare it to trying to smooth out tin foil with a sledge hammer

Oldman: ouch! I was really hoping you'd come smoothly away from that hail (golf ball sized were reported on the radio in your area). I don't know of any body shops in the neighborhood...but I hope you get back to new asap. Good luck!

can the paintless dent repair guys fix hail damage on Roof's...usually they have to be able to get under neath the metal, ...and don't think there's an easy way to get underneath the meal of the roof?
