I look at those too on ebay and thought more affordable fog lights. However, cheaper could mean:
- more easily cracked lenses
- loosely fitting in OEM holes
- less intense illumination

Not sure, but guessing IMHO

Given the high propensity of the OEM lenses to crack anyway, maybe it wouldn't matter

True, but since I saw posts where some board members had their $250+ OEM foglights crack after 5 months, 2 months, and even 2 weeks, I figured these might not be a bad deal for 1/2 the money since they're going to crack anyway...

but seriouly, I just want to have something to fill in those two big square holes instead of a piece of black plastic.... not like foglights these days really do much besides for the looks anyways, esp with hid's

If you can buy the plastic piece around the oem fog lights, you can measure it and put piaa's in. They are very easy to install.. Probably a lot more durable the the oem ones. I had picked up a pair of 100 dollar fog lights for my toyota, and those lasted forever. I am about to buy my tsx, but i think i will opt for aftermarket spoiler, and foglights. I will install both myself to save some $$$

Probably, but PIAA is such an overrated brand name, really not a good buy for what you'll pay. Awful durability, and pretty bad support as well for replacement parts, you'll need to be hooked up well, and hold a stock of replacement parts at your home.
