that's the rubber(?) strip along the side of your car that saves your door from getting the shit kicked out of it by the doors of other cars. it might save you from a little damage, but in my opinion, it looks like ass and can't save you from doors without an average height (i.e. suvs or lowered cars). and sorry, don't got it and i haven't even seen one with it.

they ruin the streamline styling of the TSX....get 3M protection from stongard or something if you want door edge protection.

I have the OEM door edge guards on my TSX & RSX-S. They do not ruin the lines of the cars. For $22 it was good money to spend to keep the edges from chipping. I recommend them. This is not the body side molding - these are the color-matched pieces that go along the door edges.

ever wonder why most people don't put door edge trim on their car even if it's only 22 bucks?

my bad. i was thinking of the body trim. the door edge trim is a guard for your door's edge only. you place it on your car's door edge so that when you open it and hit a wall or another car, it doesn't damage your door especially; it's the inverse of the body trim. i don't have any pics, but it's not that noticeable because it's a thin line and is painted the same color as your car.

if you got adobe reader, here's a link of what it is:

hope it helps a little.

go check it out at your dealership. i thought about getting it for my car, but saw it in the show room and thought it was too thick. just my 2 cents.

Just don't fling your door open without seeing is there is clearance. Now what they need is a forcefield to protect your car from other people flinging their door into you! Ah... 8 months new and I'm still parking in the back of parking lots to prevent just that.

I wonder how this would stand up in a hail storm? Maybe enough resiliency to cause hail to bounce off.

That's why you electrify the bubble with 20,000 Volts after it's inflated.
