Now down to invoice + $700 on 2006 TSX.
They started at MSRP, went to $500 under MSRP with Costco discount. A local dealer offered me $750 off to get me to change dealerships. The original dealer matched.
I posted my $750 off of msrp here and a member from Ok. shared that there where getting $750 over invoice.
After calling around a bit more, I'm at $700 over invoice + destination.
If the 2005 invoice to MSRP spread is the same as the 2006, I'm at almost $1900 under MSRP. And my car will be in the first shipment. It's the only 6-speed they ordered. Black on Black, 6-speed manual, navi.
Oh ya... bluetooth, memory seats, upgraded navi, skirt kit, and more power standard.
Is there a chance that picture was just a photo-shopped representation of what some artist thinks the redesign might look like?

How are they accepting your 06 orders without knowing what the colours will be yet?
I have been waiting to order to see what the new colours are. I guess black will likely be the same.

They know the names of the colors. They have already ordered their first allotment of cars. My dealer is getting 7 cars. Mine is the only 5-speed manual. At least one of the others is a new color, Royal Blue Pearl.

Woops, tyop, 6-speed. Good catch.
They placed the order before the pictures. As far as I know, there are still no pictures of the 2006 TSX with the new colors.
There is a low rez photo from the october R&T and a bunch of Japan Accord photos.
They had the same info that we had a few weeks ago with the names of the new colors, HP increase, and additional standard options.
Don't know if the royal blue has a buyer yet. They likely ordered it to see what it looks like. The dealer told me that it's not unusual for them not to know what a color is going to look like until it rolls off the trailer. He was a little embarased about having to admit how uninformed they are.
When I asked about changes for the 2006, he pulled a print of the same post I read here a few weeks ago.

Using the invoice to MSRP spread of the '05, going from your price to mine would be worth about $1000!

Nope
Compare both pics again, you'll see.
