well the change i keep in the little change slots on the top layer of the armrest
i use this space to keep my bluetooth headseat, its nice and small and fits very well into the little red area, hah

I used a red paint pen to cover over the label. A little sloppy, maybe later I'll put black tape or something. But for now it doesn't broadcast what it ain't.
(jk) I use mine for sunflower seed shells, and boogers. C'mon, guys, you have to stow your blue ribbon nose gold somewhere.
... Bluetooth earbud is the best use I've read yet.

It could be an ashtray except for in the Peoples' Republic of Maryland, California, or New York. The smoking police there will arrest you for using it as an ashtray, and the thought police will arrest you for thinking about it. Pretty much anywhere else, use it for what you want.

Little did I know that there's a separate part # for the label (which could be painted over and installed, or modified), #14, 77288-SDA-A01. D'oh! (I got a little of the red paint seeping into the felt below the label.) I just wish I could get #16 and maybe take off the felt and put a different material in there (carbon grey or black rubberized?).

Alot fo manufacturer do this to to try and prevent smoking in vehicle. RIIIGGGGHHHTTTTTTT if your a smoker your going to smoke regardless. Just becuase you put a red velvet box with a sticker saying not an astray won't deter a smoker

All smokers will do is make an ashtray somewhere esle or take out the red velvet box altogether. My friend she just gets a coffee cup fills it with water and puts that in the cupholder PRESTO you have an ashtray

Now that I have the part number, I just want to order about 40 of the decals and stick them all over random things that aren't ashtrays.
As for what I keep in there, I keep my house keys (exterior apt, apartment door, USB key, RSA ID, etc.) The only "keys" on my auto keyring (aside from the TSX key, of course,) are my gym pass and my luggage lock key.

ALSO, for all the people who use that space for spare change... be careful! If (for some reason) a coin went into the power outlet next to that it could blow some fuses... I had this happen on my old car with a similar setup... the car died completely, it wouldn't even turn on and after a looooong time at the dealership they figured out a penny had fallen in there and was blowing fuses every time the ignition was turned on!
Thankfully we have that little plug/cap for the top of that outlet...
