So I have had my 2007 TSX at Zero miles and I am approaching 60,000 miles.

When my oil life hits 50% I get a message sometimes on my dash saying check oil level. Now today I got a message saying Check Emission System and Check VSA System. I took the car to the dealership, their saying I need to check the oil level every 3rd gas fill up and add more oil if it needs it.

Not sure if this is right there is no other Acura dealership in my area, so I can't get an second opinion.

Tell me if this true I need to do as they say or could there be something wrong with my car engine.

A search would have found that TSX's burn oil. Most people add .5 to 1 qt every 5000 miles. Since you're getting a message at about 2500 to 3000, you might be burning a little more. Honda calls up to about a qt/1000 miles "normal" function.

Now, from your question, it's implied that the two check lights were related to the oil level. Could you clarify?

That confused me too. I would be surprised to learn the the CE light was triggered by an oil level issue (it's an emissions control warning light), and the VSA light... well, you never know I guess. It does sound like he has an oil burner. I'm reluctant to paint all TSX (Honda 4 cylinder) engines with that brush. Maybe my wife and I have been lucky (I'm at 170K on my 05, she's over 150K with her 07) with zero oil usage. It is true that Honda allows usage up to one quart per 1000 miles to be considered "normal", but if I was using that much oil in an otherwise well running engine, I'd be worried, or discouraged, or...... pissed?
