Non TSX Owners

Noticed that there are alot of folks on this forum who do not own a TSX or an Acura for that matter, I was just curious as to why some of you folks participate on the forum. Is it because:

1) of the Sparkling Conversations that take place at this fine forum?
2) you are about to purchase Acura's Premier entry level Luxury Sport Sedan?
3) you bought another car but are secretely regretting the purchase and wish you bought a TSX?
4) of some other reason!

The most common reason would be that this site is part of the AcuraZine family. It's very easy for other Acura owners to click the TSX tab and participate here

Also informed buyers will tend to research a car before they actually purchase one.

I've been coming here since the time I realized the TSX will probably be my next car. It's scary, because I probably know more about it than the car I currently own (2000 Civic EX Coupe).

The TSX will likely be my next car... of course assuming I get a job offer soon. Then again a Boxster would we sweet too.

The conversation here is good too. There are a lot of threads about current events, politics, etc, and since there is such a diverse group of people here, the debates can get very interesting.

I own a TSX. That said, most online forums are not as well written or as thoughtful on many levels...

I almost bought a TSX September 2003 but decided on the G35c. Some of my priorities have changed and am seriously thinking about trading the G for the TSX. I'm on this site daily looking for info that will help me with my final decision. I also frequent miata.net (previous car before the G35) which is an excellent site for all kinds of info under their car talk section.

I like this forum because the members seem to be more in my age group; thus more helpful, thoughtful, and interesting. I currently own a 2002 Civic Si, but after two years of ownership I am hopelessly bored with it (even to the point of returning it to stock). Who knows, my mind may change by the time my next car purchase comes along but in the meantime it's fun for me to learn about a car which really piques my interest... more than I can say for many other cars out right now.

1) of the Sparkling Conversations that take place at this fine forum?

The ramblings section is off the hook!

2) you are about to purchase Acura's Premier entry level Luxury Sport Sedan?
nope

3) you bought another car but are secretely regretting the purchase and wish you bought a TSX?

long story short, was planning on buying a TSX when it came out in April, but then an SUV killed my Integra and I needed a car ASAP...so I had to buy an 03 Accord Coupe.

4) of some other reason!
The smileys!!!

I visit here because I had my heart set on a 2004 TSX, I think it is a great car and love it. I was able to afford a little more and get the 2004 TL and am happy with my car, but still am interested to see what's available for TSXs, what people are doing to them and such.

Cool, so the TSX is in your blood! I can understand completely, I may not post alot but I visit the site pretty frequently throughout the day because there's always something that will break up the monotony of the daily grind.

the widebody TSX posted a while back got me excited, which someone or myself (if I was capable) would do a widebody job on a 3rd Gen TL, I mean we already have widebody RSXs, a TSX and and a CL, why not a TL?

I'm here trying to find a car for my wife. I am trying to decide between the TSX w/NAV, the accord V6 w/NAV or a Mini Cooper S with everything except Nav. These cars are all over the spectrun with respect to each other, so it is a tough decision. So far, the TSX is leading since it is in between the Mini and Accord comparing size, power, handling, etc.

Maybe i'll be a permanent member of this forum in about 3 months or so....

Oh yeah..the smileys are cool too!!!

I was thinking about a Mini Cooper S but after reading so many problems on Mini message boards I took it out of consideration. It's not like they are just rattles either or everyone has the same problem. There are all kinds of problems and it seems their service is some of the worst!

My sister bought a TSX and I just wanted another car forum to post on. The Lexus RX300 and Dodge Grand Caravan wouldn't be too much fun to post/read about.

I am considering a TSX for my next car and I'm one of those guys who does tons and tons of research beforehand. This forum is a great source of info. I just registered but I've been doing some lurking.

I own a 2002 Civic EX. I think the TSX would be a lovely upgrade.

I am searching for a used 2004 TSX now. If I don't find one, I'll try for a 2005 TSX sometime next year. First post.

I've been "here" since we were all at "the other site" and that was about 6 months before the TSX was even released. That's a long time!!! (I need a hobby...) I had every intention on buying a TSX then, but found myself looking for a new job. Now, I'm trying to get back to the point where I can afford my baby. Meanwhile, have gotten to know and like the folks here. Awww... you guys are just swell..

I am here because the woman from the village to the north said I could buy cabbages here in great quantity, and cheaper than in Gryzobny. Our village has few cabbages, and those we find are of poor quality, like VWs or Pontiacs. The elders sent me to find cabbages, and alas, all I have found is Acura TSX.
Someday I will buy Acura TSX, if it can hold more cabbages than my donkey cart. Or if it compares favorably to other conveyances I am considering. The Audi is rife with molded cheese and cockroaches. Plus, employees do not wash their hands before returning to food preparation areas. The BMW has improper use of wiping cloths, is hard to enter rear seats, holds fewer cabbages, and costs many monies more than Acura.
The discussion here gladdens my heart almost as much as seeing my own goats eat contentedly in field of lush grasses. My goats prefer Arctic Blue, but what do goats know of automobile colorations? Is laughable that many take opinion of goats so seriously, correct? Sorry, time to scrape the beets ...
