Newbie here, quick question for you...

Sorry if a similar topic has been posted before. I did a quick search and couldn't find one.

Anyhow, I just leased a new 2007 Acura TSX, Carbon Gray Pearl, ebony, manual tranny with navi. I've had the car for a little over a week and I absolutely love it! Just to give you some background info, I'm coming from a 1996 Honda Civic with close to 200k miles.

I am absolutely enamored with the car and I love everything about it! I find it difficult to find any faults with it! Sure there are some things I've come up with, but nothing worth mentioning.

My question to you guys is this: how long before the euphoria wears off?

How do you like the manual tranny?? Any problems with jerking or lag with the 1st to 2nd shift?

I've had mine for 2 years and I still love it. Hopefully DC won't kill the vibe...

it takes a little getting used to. the whole drive by wire thing gets annoying at times, because the revs hang in the middle of shifting, so rev matching is a little more difficult, but i've gotten used to it so it's really not that bad. i've heard that with the hondata ecu reflash, this problem is mitigated. to what extent, i'm not sure.

thanks to everyone here for welcoming me! it's good to know that the euphoria will continue for a long time =)
