Newbie Here
Well all, I'm getting my TSX later this week. 6MT w/ Navi and Fog Lights and Rear Spoiler. Getting the Fog Light Covers painted SSM to match the paint job as well.
Used to be on ClubSi.com, but unfortunately my 2000 Civic Si was stolen about a month ago, and found the next day missing the engine, transmission, etc...
Seems like this forum is slowly growing; hopefully it'll get as big as ClubSi.com was/is. Later!

We used to live an hour from Charlotte. In fact, I used to manage a cell phone store at Carolina Place mall in Pineville, which is basically part of Charlotte. We never had a problem nor knew anyone that had a problem with having a vehicle stolen. Tough break, man. But I would say, it could have happened anywhere.

Anyway, DarkLava, welcome!!
I'll be very interested in your experiences, since I'm getting rid of my 2000 Si to get a TSX when the '05 model comes out.
Keep us informed!!

Thanks all! If anyone needs some stock parts from a 2000 Civic Si, let me know. I've got the springs, shocks, airbox, and a set of winter wheels/tires that I'll probably need to be getting rid of here in the near future...
I'll be checking Ebay for my engine/tranny, but I doubt that anything is going to show up on it. It was a pretty clean job, and the police couldn't find any prints on the car or anything either.
But other than that, I'm lovin' the Charlotte area! Ha... Hopefully the new car will make me feel better!
DGH: Is there any certain reason you are waiting for an '05 TSX? I don't believe they have any major changes scheduled for it. Honda is releasing its new pickup truck next fall though; although it's going to be a little funky; not your standard pickup...

Yep, in the U.S. it was the Si, and in Canada it was the SiR. Same car basically. I believe they offered the SiR in Blue, Red, Black, and Silver. (The silver was not offered here in the U.S.)
And yes, it was 160hp stock...

But I'm more interested in possible color combos. For example, PWP definitely rocks, but the parchment interior makes me want to vomit, plus high maintenance. PWP with Ebony is available in Canada, though, so it wouldn't be a big deal for Acura to intro it here. And of course there is always the chance of a surprise. (Type S, anyone? )
If there is no substantial change come October, I'll just get a CG/Ebony '04, which they may be trying to clear out at that time. Hell, I may even wait 'til Spring, just to delay my snow tire & rim purchase (Lots of driving in Canada). We'll see what happens in October.

Well, finally picked up the new TSX a couple days ago. I am absolutely lovin' it so far. Makes the drives to and from work much more enjoyable! The dealer did great too; got the fog lights and spoiler for free, and then at the last minute they through in the all-season floor mats, truck liner, and wheel locks as well. (I also got the fog light bezels painted SSM to match the paint job. Did the same on my old Civic many years ago. They look great! The dealer said he had never had anyone request that to be done, but he is going to start recommending it for future buyers.) Thanks all!

Picking up my ABP TSX today!
Hey guys,
I'm picking up my ABP TSX today , actually a few hours from now. Very very excited! But I have a quick quest for you more experienced TSX owners. A coworker of mine told me that I should NOT do over 55 mph untill I put a 1000 miles on the car to "break it in". Is this true or was he just bs'ing me? Any other suggestions on things to do or not to do are very welcome. Thanks again everybody!
