New Struts KYB

New Struts KYB
I installed KYBs myself on just the front. Replace all the rubber pieces and the bellows and the strut mount rubber. For about the first 2 weeks it was really tight and controlled but never harsh. It felt "new". Now about 8 weeks out it feels almost spongy. Tires have the same pressure all the time.
I really don't think I'm used to it because it was very tight and nice for that first 2 weeks. I know how that felt and how this feels. These feel like softness has set in on them.
Any ideas?

I would not expect the damping to change drastically in that amount of time unless you had some defective dampers. You could be experiencing some undesirable dynamics from mixing new aftermarket dampers in with worn OEM dampers.
If you want new, reliable, better, just drop $600 on an aspec kit. Try parts at curryacura dot com. OEM reliability, everything's pre-assembled (no messing with spring compressor)...
Speaking from experience--I learned my lesson about cheap aftermarket junk with Tokico's.
