New proud owner of a 2004 CGP TSX!!!
So I've been browsing throught this website for quite a while now. Actually when they introduced the TSX in the Acura line-up back in 03. But then went ahead and bought me a 03 Pontiac Bonneville Supercharged. But now I'm back as I have now traded my bonni to a 2004 Carbon Grey TSX w/ Navigation.
I was in the Market to buy the new 2006 models, but asked myself...why buy new, when you can get a preowned for a much affordable price. BTW, I really don't care for the new cosmetic changes on the new models among other new stuff. BTW, are there any other changes besides the rear and the front of the car? anything new on the 06 models that differ from the 04 and 05 models from the interior?
The price I paid for my 2004 TSX w/Navigation was $23,000 OTD Tax and everythin. The only thingis the milage. It had 37K...would you guys consider that high milage or moderate? and would you say I got a great deal? Please your responses will be appreciated.
Thanks
J

05 - Power seat adjust for passenger
06 - 5hp more (technically about 12-13hp more) due to new calculation method
- Bluetooth
- Thicker steering wheel
- Interior plastic a lil diff
- Better wipers (better?)
- Upgraded Navi System (faster and better display quality)
- Integrated Foglights
There might be more, but those are the biggies...

Adding to bibby's list for '06
- Memory Seats
- Auxillary Jack for MP3 players
- Longer warranty
- MID
- More personalization features
- Changed dash lighting
- Ugly rims
hmm....am I missing anything else?
By the way, great price on the car. You saved more than $7k from a new '06 w/navi. Not bad at all but the mileage is a bit high.....

Thanks bibby,
Is the 06 Navi that much better than the 04 models.
Well I just couldn't see myself spending a difference of about $7K.
I'm lookin' to mod my car a bit. I'll probably throw on the OEM body kit, and the M3 lip and some 18's, hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
I'll be posting pics of my before and after photos.

yeah...I know $7K is a lot. I can mod my car and still with $$$ to spare.
I would believe 37K is a little high, but the car was manufactured in May 03 so considering it was driven for 3 years it comes out to about 12k miles a year. so it's not that bad.

I don't know if you're driving a MT or AT. But I, myself drives a 05 AT and have drive a 06 AT loaner...there's is only a very very slight difference in terms of HP feel, but certainly not worth to be considered in purchase a 04 vs. 06....maybe the other gadgets mentioned above COMBINED together might...that is also of course, if you will use those. Navi wise, I'm sure the 06 is much easier to use, because you can voice in address names instead of punching them in compared to 04 and 05s. But hey, 7k is 7k, use it somewhere else if need be. Make sure you get classy rims since you have a CG TSX! May I suggest you to take a look at Mugen NR Mirror, VS or the new Advans. Hope it helps.

I think 37K on an '04 is reasonable. I've had my '04 since April of '03 and I have 49,700 miles on it and it still runs just as good as the day I drove it off the lot.
