Smile New 06 TSX owner here...

Hello all!

I'm new to this website. Just purchased my brand new 06 TSX in nighthawk black pearl back in September...it is the love of my life! Although I can't seem to figure out how to post any type of picture next to my username so that ya'll can check it out. I'm up for any suggestions!

Welcome!

To put up an avatar by your name, go to your account settings and upload your avatar. It tells you the max size for the file.

If you want to post bigger pics in a post, visit the FAQ section and you can follow the directions there. Basically, you upload a pic onto something like imageshack.us, then copy and paste the link into your post. You can use Easy Thumbnails to shrink your pic to whatever size you want.

Those are the only pictures I have of it at work. I will have to post more later on when I'm at home.

Thumbs up

Those pictures are from October when I purchased the car. Since then, I've slowly started the modifications...Nothing too crazy yet since I live in Montana and the weather is shitty here right now. The exterior is pretty much all OEM still. I haven't put any of the things I've bought on yet since I'm not driving it during the winter, but I have the Euro R grill (which is already on), emblems, a set of 18" wheels (although I really want the 19" Ron Jon Insypre in chrome..coming soon) DC sports header, AEM intake, Hondata reflash, etc...It's slowly coming together.

Montana, nice. I've been there a few times but I don't think I saw any imports.

It looks the same as the 06. Unless you want pics of the TMPS. I'm kidding though. You know I get annoyed when people ask for pics of a car we've seen a million times.

What did I do?
I was answering Joe. He asked who asked for pic. I was showing him your post, which I think was asking for a pic, no?

I couldn't get the red text to work. Yes it looks exactly like the 06 LOL.

I was telling tsxy87 that his car pics were nice. He tried posting pics initially but didn't know how so he deleted the post. He figured it out and posted again. I guess you didn't see my white text in my response to joerockt.

No, there aren't very many imports here, well, not any nice ones anyway. My roommate has an 00 acura integra...it's 100% mint...all stock except a front end JDM conversion. It's absolutely gorgeous. I have a few other friends in town that have some nice imports, but overall Montana is definitely not the place to come to find nice import cars. LOL. Too many hicks here...and I'm a "she"...to those of you who keep referring to me as a "he"!

The pic you're using for your avatar is a little dark, its hard to make out what it is (especially considering its avatar size). Not too crazy but you've made quite a head start in your modifications. Are you more after performance or looks? Don't forget a replacement rear sway bar. Its a great bang-for-the-buck upgrade and you'll definitely feel the difference.

I would like to have both...more so looks I guess. After all, it is a sedan, so I don't want to get all kinds of ridiculous mods done to increase the performance. It's not really intended to be a "race" car. I'm still unsure of what I want the overall outcome of it to be. Got any suggestions? Oh, and my avatar pic is only set to that picture because I'm at work...the full size picture of that is on the 1st page of this thread...

No specific suggestions other than the RSB. I lean toward the "sleeper" category. I like it looking innocuous and packing more bite than bark. And my mods aren't so much to outrun someone as they are to put a big smile on my face. There are a lot of mods you can do, both cosmetic and performance. Look around the Parts & Modifications subforum and also check out the modified picture galleries for ideas.
