My TSX is herrrr!
I just called up the dealership and talked to my salesman.. and guess what.. MY CAR IS HERE! They said a delivery specialist (or something) was going to call me. It looks like I'm going to have a good Columbus Day weekend.
Does anyone know if I can set up insurance and pick it up today? Or is it going to have to wait until tomorrow?

Congrats!
It's best to call your insurance company now and set up your policy for your new car. They can fax a copy of the info to your dealer and you'll be all set when you pick up the car.

The above advice is true IF your old car insurance has comprehensive and collision (which most people do, but if you were driving an old beater, like I was, then you might just have liability). You cannot take a new car off the lot without both of these, unless you paid for the whole thing in cash (ie if you are financing it at all or leasing it, by law you need comprehensive and collision).

ok, so the salesman calls me up while I'm driving to the dealership that we'll do the paperwork tomorrow (which is today) and I'll be able to pick the car up on Saturday, the latest Monday. What kind of torture process is this?!??!

Congratulations and I know the feeling! The Torture Process is known as the all-important dealer preparation. They have a sizeable check-list of things to verify beside pulling off all the shipping material. If they're nice, they will detail the car for you too, such as what my dealer did upon delivery.
