Mugen SS + Cosport Bushings + Maven Shift Knob = Money
This is a killer setup. I really need to vacuum my car...geez. Guess this would be the HT Spec combo if I had a CT short shifter but the Mugen is even better, I think.

I like the way "Maven Shift Knob" is seeded. How would you compare the shifting performance based on stock and maven shift knob? As you noted in the previous thread that shifting was much better and smoother with the stock knob, is there a big difference with the new shift knob or it is purely aesthetics?

I wouldn't say there is a huge difference over the stock knob as far as actual shifting goes. The up shifts are a bit smoother because the maven knob is heavier. That said, the maven has a much better feel when shifting, the size and weight simply fit my hand better. I swapped the 2 knobs a couple of times to see if I could tell the difference and it was obvious. So in general it is mostly feel and look for me, actual smoothness of shifts isn't really affected by the knob. But I think it completes the combo and reminds you every day....
Its certainly worth the 60 dollars or so I paid for the knob.
