MPG Estimate errors, any way to correct?
The MID displayed MPG is always between 2 and 2.5 MPG optimistic versus my calculated MPG off gas pumped and miles driven. I don't top off the tank, so that variable is out. I have the system set to automatically zero Trip A and MPG when I start moving after a stop where the gas filler door is opened...so I'm wondering.
My old Z-3 (1997) has a trip computer installed that calculated MPG but was always optimistic. So I found a way to change the system, it used a multiplier that was adjustable (it was set at 1.4, I moved it to 1.2 and it was within 5% all the time). So, does anyone know of a way to adjust the TSX's fuel MPG calculations in some manner....I'd like to knock mine down about 10%.

There's a way to adjust the temperature in the MID setup area (where you choose if the key fob button takes one or two clicks to unlock all the doors, etc) but I don't recall there being an adjustment for the MPG... it would be great if there was, though, IIRC from previous posts the MID is 1.5-2.5 MPG "generous" on almost every TSX...
