Post More TSX Reviews (Car-Data.com)

Another car site and another five reviews of the TSX. All very positive.

In retrospect, the reasons why I decided on a TSX are precisely the same reasons why reviewers across-the-board like it. Its nice to get positive reinforcement.

I like this quote from Casey,

It is quite possible that GOD himself created the TSX for his own personal use
Check out Casey's review, he loved the car more than the guys at C&D did!!

Yes, the reviews are pretty positive, that one reviewer, Cindy, made a positive statement with an idiotic basis. To quote:

<quote>
This vehicle is so much more than a 4-door RSX. Not only is it heavier, but it also feels much more substantial and more solid in its handling.
</quote>

Well, DUH! It's NOT a 4-door RSX.

That's WHY it's heavier, feels more substantial and more solid in handling! Does Cindy have a clue what an Accord is, the basis for the TSX?

That's like saying (for perspective--never mind comparing apples and bananas) "the RSX is so much more (or less) than a 2-door Accord."

Brad, I think you're being too hard on poor Cindy (heh heh, I said )

Most people don't express themselves very precisely (and those of us who do are usually wrong ).
And they don't intend to.

As people go, Cindy isn't half bad. It's roughly sort of correct to think of the TSX as a 4-door RSX. Don't get me wrong -- it isn't CORRECT, but it's sort of correct. In the same sense that it's sort of correct to say that the TSX replaced the Integra. It isn't correct, but it isn't ridiculous.

And IMO for an N.A. person, it's just as correct to think of the TSX as a version of the RSX as it is to think of it as a version of the Accord. The only Accords that most of us know is are the N.A. Accords -- that's our frame of reference, and therefore it's our language. If I didn't know about the Euro Accord, I don't think I'd regard the TSX as a version of anything, but if I had to, I'd sooner regard it as a version of the RSX than of the Accord.

Cindy rules!

P.S. Call me sexist -- maybe I'm cutting her some slack for being a :-*
