Just over 3 months, getting up to 5700 miles.... all highway. Should be only 3700 miles but traveling up to penn state 4 times didn't help.

I'll have it 4 months this Sunday ... and I hit 10K miles yesterday. At this rate, that's about 31K/yr.

6900 miles in 4 months (all normal daily commuting miles, except for the first day when I put in 150 miles because I bought from a dealership 50 miles away and had to make a second trip to pick up my former car).

onenonlieTSX,

thats alot man!
2 questions for you.......

1.) how do you like your type-s? I was about to sign the papers on a type-S, when they brought in the first 2 TSX's in az. I bought one, and the dealer kept one for there demo purpose's. Whenever I drop my car off for a maintence, the dealer gives me an RSX for a loaner, but they are always the auto, non-S.....it REALLY makes me LOVE my car even more! I wish they would give me a type-S, just once!

2.) What kind of maintences have you done/had done?

I'm coming up on 15,000 and am nervous about trusting the dealership with this question. They LOVE my money!
any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
thank you!

also, do you have any pics of your new baby? what about some mods...do you plan on it for the S?

So far... I'm loving it. To tell you the truth... its LOADS more fun to drive than my TSX. The seats are It definately gives you a sporty feel. The auto-non-S hardly reflects what you would feel in the typeS. The i-VTEC is MUCH MUCH more noticable than in the TSX and the car just FEELS like it has more balls. If you havent already... go take one out for a test drive. I doubt they'll ever give you a TypeS loaner because all loaners are autos.... The TypeS only comes in a 6speed. Its definately no TSX when it comes to the luxary and anemity aspect. But for the price i got it for ($21,000 OTD) I am very very pleased.

I've taken my TSX in for the 7500 service so far and a couple oil changes. Yes they DO love your money. The service cost me a hundred some dollars but they perform all the basic stuff (i.e. rotate tires, check all fluids, check tranny...). Just make sure they dont charge you extra for something you dont want done. My dealer tends to leave out the "you have to pay this" part of the conversation. No need to be nervous. I like to sit and wait for my car so that I can take a peek into the garage every now and then to make sure my baby's alright.[/B]

lso, do you have any pics of your new baby? what about some mods...do you plan on it for the S?

No pics yet... I'll get some developed soon. Some mods planned for the S are:

1] Tein Type Flex coilovers
2] AEM V2 CAI
3] RacingHart 18" C2s
4] Header and exhaust (undecided)

nothing major... just the basic bolt-ons and suspension package. I plan on going all out with my TSX... plus... the wifey will be driving the RSX so I dont want her getting pulled over for emissions, mods, and whatnot.

Ya, i have driven the type-S, like i said, almost bought one.....they defanatly have more pick up than the TSX, but, look at the differance in the weight to power ratio!

Also, does your wife have a sister? I need a Female that drives a type-S!!

So I am not the only one that drives a lot to work via Highway huh? Plus like some of you said: I bought this car is for me to drive...who cares about it's resale value? Just drive it right?
