Might buy a 06 TSX this friday!!

What do you guys think. I haven't looked at the car yet, I will on Friday.

2006 TSX White/Black 6speed. no navi... about 28K miles..

I"m gonna try offering $17000OTD from the used car dealership... they listed $19989..

If nothing is wrong with it.. I think if I can get it OTD for $17,000 or even $16,500 it would be awesome!

It has fog lights and the factory lip kit and spoiler already...

Suggested Retail Value: Excellent: $22,030
Private Party: Excellent: $19,480
Good: $18,530
Poor: $17,230
Trade In: Excellent: $16,850
Good: $16,000
Poor: $14,550

So I'm thinking in this economy and most people that buy TSX/TLs etc would buy a Automatic (older crowd) and with Navigation. This car is manual and has no navi.. So That's my bargaining power.. I'm gonna act like I wanted an auto with navi.. hehehe...

the manual tranny part may not help considering auto tranny and manual are the same price from the factory. Oh and get Navi so you aren't one of the millions who post about converting your non navi to navi... If you are in NOVA go out to Frankel Acura Cockeysville MD,
They have a CPOd 05 white 6 speed with nav 43K miles for 20K

I'm getting very exicted about tomorrow! I might be back in the Acura family very soon. I had a 04 TL 6-speed 2 years back then sold it and bought a 2007 Honda Fit sport Auto...

I just asked a friend who just bought her 2006 TSX White/Tan, Auto, no navi with 25,000 miles on it and she paid $18,000 back in April. So I think asking $16,500 OTD and having my max price @ $17,000OTD is a good deal.

Hopefully nothing is wrong with the car. It's still under warranty I believe too.

if it is listed at 20K + tax etc, to get it for 17K OTD would be a miracle. That's more than 4K off. But good luck.

I love a great deal as much as anyone, but don't be too cheap. Unless your mods will void the warrantee, a certified TSX is worth the extra dollars. Check-out the Acura web site for the details. Again JMO.

JLui83,

I have been looking for what seems like an eternity (and probably still won't find one ). One car has a good body, but is rotted to the core. Another one has a good under-body but is scratched up and banged up. It's tough to find a good car but I think you need to be more reasonable on the price of the car especially if it was an Acura CPO. I can't even get any dealers to go for an 06 at $19k. They would rather have them sit on the lot for months before dropping the price to what I offer and at that point the car has been sitting too long and may have developed severe rust. Good luck and I hope you find the right one.

If anyone is looking still, I am taking pics of my car and am trying to sell it.
06 Carbon grey TSX with navi automatic.
mods done......
front and side oem lip kit
10,000K HID kit in headlights and fog lights
fog light rewire
lowered on tein springs
ingalls camber kit
window tint from dealer
DVD player hidden in bubby hole (plays on navi screen)
back up camera
every light in the car is blue led except half of steering wheel.
axle back custom exhaust.
clear headlights
led blinkers
white led mod to side view mirrors.

I owe 19,500 on it but will pay $2000. towards the payoff or to whoever buys it.
you buy it for 19,500 and I'll give you 2,000. cash
or
you pay 17,500 and I'll pay the 2,000 difference.
I live in Dallas Texas. You come here and I will pick you up from the airport and you can stay at my place. I'll even provide meals and beer.
