Question "metal" look interior trim kit

Has anyone installed the "metal" look interior trim kit? (or the "wood" look for that matter). This is the kit that has console and armrest pieces that match the dashboard/door trim. I've seen the installation instructions - all the pieces apply with a double stick tape on the surface of the original black plastic.

1. Was the kit easy to install?
2. Are you happy with the look, the detailing?
3. Does it appear these would/could fall off later?

Thanks

A floor model had the metal trim package in my dealership. I didn't like the look -- too much of a good thing. And if it does just install with double sided tape, I'd stay away from it. I would have expected they would replace the components.

The original flat black surface in the TSX is of such a high quality, it's a shame to tape somthing to it, IMHO.

PM provench, I think he got the metal trim or ebcheon. I remember 2 people on this board having it, I don't think it goes on top of the black pieces, it replaces them.

Good luck.

I installed this kit on mine. It was very easy and looks great. They are peel and stick and the adhesive seems very strong. They haven't shifted, slid or come loose at all, and its been 3 months so far. The metal trim looks great with the ambient lighting. It reflects the blue light and makes it more noticeable than the plain, which just absorbs the light. If you've got the $$ I recommend you do it.
