Made the switch
I just switched from a 05 Volvo S40 T5 6sp/mt to a 08 TSX 6sp/ mt w/ navi. I loved my T5, but it had to many problems. I've had my TSX now for about a month now, just got my windows tinted yesterday... now the car looks like it should!! I'm very happy with the TSX, just wish it came in turbo

Congrats! I was sooo close to getting an 05 Volvo S40 T5 MT over my 06 TSX MT. My gf hated the MT in the Volvo and the cheap interior so we went for the TSX. The S40 was must quicker off the line though and the waterfall center console is kind of cool. The Volvo salesguy was saying how reliable and safe Volvos are so I guess that's all bs. Enjoy your new car!

My T5 was great the first few months I had it. But then things started to go wrong. The radio had a mind of it's own, there was this annoying sound coming from the back end of the car that no one could tell me what it was. The car was safe, but that over shadowed everything else.
Now I'm just trying to find spec for the speakers and the bolt dia for the wheels so I can get my TSX looking just right.
