M3 trunk spoiler question

M3 trunk spoiler question
I just received my m3 style trunk spoiler from xenonspecialist. I ordered the PWP one but when I placed it over my car the color doesn't match. The spoiler is actually more white than my car color. Did anyone else have this problem?
I know it's not because my car color is faded or anything because I also placed on a 2006 PWP RSX-S (a brand new car just purchased from the dealership) and it still doesn't match - again the the spoiler is whiter than the car color. I heard others on here said that it was a perfect match.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a bit lighter/whiter. My spoiler from xenonspecialist in carbon gray pearl was almost perfect. However, only one person other than myself was able to tell a difference (just a tad lighter). Almost everyone else thinks that it was a factory part.
I can't speak for others, but i am pleased with the color matching given it was done by a third party.

Lion-O check out this thread link below, there was some discussion on the PWP color. They mentioned the RSX white is a different white than the TSX and polishing your PWP will make it look whiter.

I have the spoiler in black and it matches nicely, just haven't installed it yet. I am waiting for the warmer weather.

I got a CG spoiler last fall from the same seller and the match was nearly perfect. My car is a late 2004 so it was only 13 months old. No problem with fading, etc.
Sounds like white may be harder to match.

I'm thinking about getting a spoiler from xenonspecialist, but I'm concerned about the adhesion. I take my car to a laserwash during the winter, and I'm afraid the wash might loosen the spoiler. Good quality automotive tape should hold it on, but I'm not sure.
Anyone with an M3-style from xenonspecialist take their car through touchless washes? Any opinions?

The tape on xenonspecialist's spoilers is really tough stuff. Although i haven't been through a touchless washer with the spoiler on yet, i highly doubt the process will loosen the tape.

My When I received the spoiler from them for my SS color, the spoiler color was also a bit different / brighter than the car color. But I installed it anyway. Now the color matches..... I guess you just gotta let it seat in the sun to blend in????

The white is a very hard color to match. My cousin's white TL has OBVIOUS color differences even between the bumpers and the body. So maybe compare the spoiler to your bumper. That should be a closer match.
