Loose cover under the hood
Hello Everyone.
So, yesterday, I happened to open the hood and I noticed that the cover(?) for some exhaust?/intake? pipe underneath is loose. All the fasteners are gone and it was just resting crooked on top of the pipe. Not sure when or how this happened. Haha... ha...
So few things,
Thanks!!

Loose cover and the hole/pipe that it covers
How it's suppose to fit

So few things,
- Does anyone know what type of fasteners I would have to get that would fit this?
- It looks like the hole on top of cover, towards the front of the car, is supposed to be plugged... Is that something that's sold separately?
- Also, is the cover suppose to "float" on top of that pipe? Or, am I missing a part inbetween?
Thanks!!

Thanks!
I thought about zip-ties but wasn't sure if I could use them for the 2 holes that attaches to the front side. I guess I'll give it a shot.

So, does that cover stop thinks from falling in there? Or, prevent water from splashing everywhere? Both?

I always saw it more of to keep things form falling in and to to direct air from the front (cold) into it rather than just sucking in whatever engine air is there.
