lip spoiler installation tips

Hello all,

I recieved my lip spoiler a few weeks ago and I am now wondering how much I should pay for the paint job. I got one quote for $75 + taxes (CAD), without installation. Is this reasonable?

Also, once it is painted do I apply the tape to the spoiler first or the tape on the deck lid first?

Help brothers, help.

$75 seems resonable, just make sure it looks good!
Tape on spoiler first.

I also payed $75 in Orange County, CA and they did a great job. Before you put the tape the the spoiler, clean with mineral spirits followed by rubbing alchol. Then, apply the tape. You may need to cut the ends to match the contour of the spoiler. Once you do this, clean the mating surface on the trunk with mineral spirts followed by rubbing alcohol. Before you remove the other side of the tape, place the spoiler on the trunk and mask where it will go. Once you have it marked, remove the tape and apply, starting from one end. I hope this helps.

$75CDN is pretty damn good! I got mine painted and installed for $100. The install is really easy though. They didn't charge me extra for it or anything.
