Lease Question???
I'm new to the board and I just got my TSX a couple of weeks ago. After going thru some of the threads and looking at pix of some of your cars, I wanna do some mods to mine. The only problem is that I am leasing, and I don't want to come out of pocket when/if I surrender my lease in 3 years. Can I make some minor mods and not violate my lease agreement?

If you're worried about the mods affecting your lease agreement, maybe you should hold off on the modding. I am leasing my car but I plan to install a set of Comptech springs and an SPC camber kit. However, before the car is returned, I plan on returning it to stock to avoid any possible lease issues. You could consider doing the same if the stuff you're doing is pretty easy to remove and replace.
Otherwise, you may want to stick to things that aren't too visible such as an ECU reflash. It would provide limited performance gains, but be completely invisible on visual inspection.

I just spoke to the dealer and they told me that the mods wouldn't affect my lease agreement negatively. They told me that it would probably be better to trade in the car rather than return it. If I trade it in I would at least get some value for the mod's if I don't return it to stock. So I'm going to go ahead and start doing some mods for appearance and perfomance.
Thanks for the suggestion
