Question Lease Price on a 2006 TSX

I wanted to know if this was a good lease deal on a 2006 TSX w/navi

36 month
15,000 miles/yr
$0 down (excl. fees and deposit)
$415/month

I told its at money factor 0.00284 and residual of 52% at a cap. cost of $27,690.

This the initial offer, I might be about to bring down a little after I negotiate.

What do you think?

Why not go 72 month finance at a decent rate for $475-$485/mo?

After 36 months you'd be able to pull probably 4-5 grand out of it if you sold it.

I don't think the math quite works on the numbers. Assuming a MSRP of $30,560, and the money factor and residuals stated, with no cap reduction I am showing a payment of $451.52 + tax. Maybe they are giving you a better price, because it seems high. $26,500 would get you a payment of $415 with those lease terms.

Thats I was thinking. The numbers didn't add up. Anyway, I was able to bring it down to $390/month. Another dealer nearby has a "price guarantee" in which they will beat an offer from another dealer by $200. With the cap. cost from the $390/month lease taken to this dealer, I might be able to get it cheaper. I'll also try to get them to throw in the iPod link for free.

I looked into a lease, but I didnt think the payments were low enough to justify, plus the amount due a signing was bogus, I financed one with a 72 month loan @ 315 a month. I intend on paying double for the first year or so, that way if I trade out, there is a good amount of equity in the vehicle. For $415 range, you can get a 43K BMW335I lease through BMW finance right now.

Every 1K down is 20 less a month depending on your finance rate. American Honda Finance rates suck, I would go through a CU if possible.
