Lasar protection

This is my first post and I love my TSX. I have an escort 8500 x50 blue that I will soon get hardwired and mounted at the bottom of the windshield. Escort has a lasar protection kit called the ZR3 shifter with 2 modules for the front of the car and one for the back that I might purchase. Does anyone have any experience with this kit? I would like to get it, but would like to hear if it has worked for others and if I can get someone to install without destroying my car( may have to remove front bumper) I drive a good bit for work and sometimes speed on one 15 mile section of the intersate ( speed limit is 60) and lasers are used. Any help would be appreciated.

Good luck with any laser protection. By the time your fuzzbuster goes off you're caught.

Since laser is stationary only and the beam is so much tighter than radar, it's harder to defeat. But I had a NY trooper pop a minivan in front of me on the turnpike while driving my new vette home from New Hampshire. He lit me up about three seconds later but that was enough time to slow down. (I had never heard the laser alert on my Valentine before and it was pretty scary.)

Now the TX trooper who lasered me about a month later, well that outcome was different.

I remember the days of X-band only and the original Escort. One thing hasn't changed - most cops go after the low hanging fruit and don't work that hard to catch people who are being careful.

There is little that can be done about ticket prevention with laser detection, since by the time any device detects it, you're already caught. I know its your first post, but in the future, we have an 'Off Topic' area which is great for topics just like this, and you'll get more responses out of it. Please limit discussion here to items directly related to the TSX.
