Kelly Blue Book - TSX w/ 96K

Just for fun i was curious to see what my car lists for on KBB sine the recent news of the 2006 TSX (which royaly pisses me off for some reason). With 96,000 miles my TSX is worth 21K?! That seems pretty good to me. I thought it would only be worth like 15K or something given the extremely high mileage. I do owe much less than the car is worth, but i still dont know if i would trade up for an 06. I want the bluetooth intergrated really bad. And my navi has gotten so freaking slow anymore, sometimes it locks up completely when doing searches and stuff. sucks.

I wouldn't trust KBB that much.... I askekd around for a trade-in on my then 30k TSX.. dealers and alike would only give me $19g for it. Private party is a different story. Hope it helps

I don't see $21k at KBB.
I put in a random NJ area code and I'm getting $18k for Excellent condition, 6 speed with Navi.

And I think you'd have to be very lucky to get even that.
I saw a TSX with 40k miles going for $17k in upstate NY and another one with 50k miles going for 20k (both non-Navi, add $700 for adjustment according to KBB).

wow.. I bought my 2005 in february, I only have 7k miles, and i thought that was alot.

Most dealerships will just send high mileage cars to an auto wholesaler, and keep the low mileage ones on their lot, so it's not really that big of a deal. That is why they under value the higher mileage cars, even if there is nothing wrong with them.

It isn't a GM car where the magic 100K mi. mark means you take another hit in resale like the one you take when you drive it off the lot. It's a Honda - where it's barely broken in.

I bought mine in April...hehe...I don't ever plan on trading this car in. I will keep it for ever! My grand kids will be throwing flux capacitors on it to time travel in the year 2045! It's gonna be a million mile TSX.

kbb trade in value minus 20% = Galves. Dealers in New york Use galves. but when I bought my Acura, the dealership uses KBB trade in value minus 20% because kbb is free and galves charges. (Rallye Acura in Roslyn)
