Just picked up my 06 ASM w/ Nav!!!
Like a lot of other people, I got frustrated with the wait at the dealers in the DC area, so I put in some requests up in NJ (have family up here). Got the call last night at 6 from Bridgewater that they had just received 5 TSX's that afternoon. One of them was silver/ebony/nav, and he was offering it $1100 cheaper than what DC dealers were offering, so I jumped in my rental and headed north.
Here are a couple of pics. Any requests, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
BTW, this is to replace my 05 NHB/EN/NAV (totaled), and I am HAPPY with the 06. Bluetooth is awesome! The new front rocks... the memory seats are PIMP... and the new nav is much better than before with no need to enter addresses by hand. Oh, and I was a little worried going from black to silver, but this new alabaster is awesome!!! Looks kinda white in some of these pics...
P.S. Could just be me, but the drive feels slightly heavier than the 05, but other than that seems about the same.
P.P.S. My only nit with the car so far is that the steering wheel really doesn't seem anything thicker to me, save for those two humps at 10 & 2.

Congrats, it looks fantastic. At first I thought, now I know where my car ended up, but I see that you have an XM radio antenna so I guess I don't have to take a trip to your area. Alabaster Silver was my first choice as well and it looks fantastic.
Congrats again.

Very nice ride dude, congrats! Hopefully us canucks'll have XM in ours or at least we can take it back to the dealer to be installed for free.
The more and more I see those rims the less and less ugly they appear. Still no comparison to the 5spoke but no longer fugly!

Sweet car, man. Bridgewater Acura is 10 minutes from my house. They offered me the same deal on an '06, I'd take it except I just bought my CPO in May. Kinda wish I'd waited.

So when I got up this morning, there was 2-3 inches of snow on my new car. As I was clearing it off, I noticed a couple of changes in the hood that I hadn't read about anywhere else (I could have easily missed it tho)...
The "troughs" which start near the corners of the hood by the windshield and slant down toward the grill are shaped differently now. It's kinda hard to explain, but the lowest part of the trough is not in the middle of the dip, it's off towards the sides of the car. Not sure if that makes any sense, but maybe someone else can explain. Sorry, no pics to show what I mean.
Also, that crease that runs right from the center of the hood by the grill, up toward the windshield seems like it extends farther than before.
I had a good stretch to test out the drive on my way home, about 225 miles. As far as handling, the stock tires definitely suck in the snow, but we knew that. I've gotta get some snow tires real soon (any recommendations?). I do notice more power in the lower rpms than the 05 had. It's not a whole lot more, but it's more, so that's good. Overall, the drive feels slightly improved over my 05, but on the whole not all that significant.
I also got to check out the new wipers since there was quite a bit of road spray. I am impressed! It's hard to explain, but they are just very clean and efficient, I guess. You know the spot that's left between the paths of the wipers at the bottom of the windshield, the spot that the blades never touch... well, that has shrunk considerably with these new blades. I'd say it's about 1 inch wide and maybe three inches tall now.
Finally, when I got home, I pulled out my all-weather mats from my 05, and when I took out the stock mats in the back seats of the 06, I noticed that the mat on the right-hand side now has a hole in it and there is a hook in the floor to hold it. However, there's no hook/hole for the left-hand side.
Anyway, just some more things I noticed today.

Hmmm... don't know if this is good news or bad news for me.
I ordered my '06 from Bridgewater as well and they said it would be in last week by 11/30 but when I called to check, they said it wasn't here yet.
No phone call this weekend either.
Wonder if it's in another shipment.
Did you see a black/black 6 speed w/NAV by any chance?

I look at your Alabaster Silver TSX and I love the colour. After looking at your pictures I am forced to go and look at my pictures of the snow covered Royal Blue Pearl TSX to comfort myself that I will like this colour.
What stand out is that the TSX and in particular the front of the TSX looks fantastic in any colour. I also look for views of the richness of the blue and I find it in the front edges of the TSX.
The TSX is a great looking car. It will look great in Silver, Black, White, Blue, even Grey
I can't wait to get it. Congrats again on yours

Can you get a nite picture of the HID and foglights on? I want to see what other 06 TSX owners are talking about when they say that Acura has matched the foglights color with the HID. Thanks!!!

I am sure he means that the day lights on and the fogs on at the same time are matching.

It would be neat to see the two together in a pic.

As for HID/fogs... I've only seen reflections from store windows and cars in front of me, but they don't look like they match at all to me. Fogs are definitely yellowish compared to the HIDs.
