Just Curious
I put a deposit down last night and signed some preliminary paperwork.
If for some reason, it takes a real long time for this car to arrive, does my deposit and prliminary signing make it a binding contract?
As in, can I get my deposit back and nix the deal?
Not that I want to, but just curious.
Thanks

Some states like WA for example have laws where you can terminate any contract within a 3 day period.
Most likely however you signed something that says "This deposit is none refundable".
You should be able to get some if not all of your money back even if you signed something that says the contrary; you're just going to have to convince them.
