Making a left turn, lady not paying attention, slick roads, lock up brakes and there you go classic rear-end. I tried to drive away before she got to me but she was moving way too fast. I am going to post pictures when I get home. My bumper and left muffler are hanging. I think there is some frame damage under the bumper. Almost two years and only a few scratches.

That sucks. Hope the damage isn't all that bad and insurance covers it all.

Pouring usually doesn't create the worst conditions because people here don't drive when it's really pouring hard. But when the ground is a little slick from light rain, you end up with a slick oily mess that no one around here seems to know how to drive in.

I feel for your pain. I recently had that happen to me, except my right side was damaged. Lady tried to do a lane change while I was at a complete stop. I suppose she was looking to her right at the same time but she ended up hitting my right corner of my car.

Uh, welcome to the club? Ah, yes, where aches of the heart are the only membership dues.

Sounds like you got tagged pretty good. From the circumstances, she and her insurance company should be responsible and cover it all. (Hopefully, she was insured.)

6 times in 2 years for us - and that's just the rear-enders - but three of those were in a rental car, and we only got the TSX is March 06, so I know I'm living on borrowed time.

I've heard it all... "my foot slipped off the clutch ", "... off the brake", "... I didn't think you were going to stop at that stop sign even though you completely stopped at the three before it!!!!" On the last one I'd heard the guy lock-up his brakes, and I got off the brake, and booted it, so I only needed a new bumper, and not a hospital. My bodywork friend said that maybe I was driving too slow, so ... now I have a TSX.

Here are some pictures. I am taking it to get the damage estimate tomorrow. It seems minor but I suspect that it will be a different story once the bumper comes off.

Sorry about the accident dude.

Yup, wait until they take the bumper off and see the rear body panel. Probably need a new impact absorber, they should pay for a new resonator, possibly a new reinforcement bar, possibly some sway bar damage, trunk lid looks like it was affected, not sure how you bumper looks in comparison to the quarter but the shop should get at least 4 hours for set up and measure and pull to align the frame, etc. Yeah, I write esitmates for a living.
