Joe Rizza Chicago

Hi,
I am brand new to the forum. Took delivery yesterday of a Black TSX Auto. Car is for the wife but we both think it is a very cool ride. The dealer (Joe Rizza Acura) was surprisingly good ( except the finance manager). Very low pressure sell. Gave me an OK deal. $26,500 +TTL. Got Foglights, dent protection, wheel locks, splash guards and truck tray. No Nav. Great financing. No complaints so far. Will keep you posted on the servicing end of the dealership.

Welcome to the forum, good luck with the TSX. Beware of Rizza's service practices. I took my CL-S to them to check the brakes for a warranty issue and they charged me $40 (approx) to look at it even though it was under warranty. Maybe they got better, but just be careful and look out for those sneaky cold heartless bastards.

I believe there is a Joe Rizza Porsche dealership and the dealings I had with them were superb- probably not the same location or managment, however I was still impressed with the service and price.

So it didn't take Joe Rizza long to reveal their true colors. Took it in to get foglights. I asked them to adjust the headlights down a little. When I picked up the car the service ticket said "headlights factory set - not adjustable". Very encouraging!! Last time I am going there.

Hey Limeydriver, who did you deal with at Joe Rizza? If you do decide to go there again talk to Pete Pishos, he's the finance manager and tell him Arjan Singh sent you. He'll be more than happy to take care of any of your problems, he's been taking care of our and that's why we've bought five cars from Joe Rizza.

Yeah right! The only guy he DIDN'T like when he bought the car was your buddy, the finance manager. I'm sure he's chomping at the bit to call Pete.

Hey Jason my family's experience was the complete opposite at Continental Acura cause the only person we didn't like was the finance manager But to each their own, it all depends on who you know. I've never had a bad experience at Joe Rizza but the same can't be said at Continental. If he talks to Pete or Emmanual he'll have no problem. And believe me, I would have much rather bought the car at Contiental cause it's only 4 miles from where I live where as Joe Rizza is 30.

That would be the same finance manager who said my fico score was 699 but he will "try"and get me the best rate even though I had my Fico score from the big three in my pocket that I pulled that same morning that showed an average of 760. I also don't appreciate a dealer trying to sell me a 5/60,000 warranty for $1,000. He should go back to selling Fords because his technique is completely out of place at a "prestige" dealership like Acura.
My issue with service is the"I can't be bothered to go the extra mile for the customer" routine. so I will feed them some bullshit to make them go away.
I am glad you think they are great but everyone I talk to who lives in Orland Park/Tinley Park area says my experience is pretty typical.
I would also buy from them again because the saleman was good but everything else was as described.

This is nothing to write home about....(heck this is almost MSRP ?)
the avg price these days, according to my research, is $25K ~ $25.5
