so I was driving yesterday, got off the turnpike and had to merge onto another highway. I don't know about all you guys/girls, but one of my pet peeves is how people don't know how to merge and they basically come to a complete stop sometimes, which IMO causes accidents possibly. So I was driving on the ramp picking up speed in 2nd gear looked over my shoulder for any other cars coming that were already on the highway and there was a car coming, but I thought I could beat him. So I kept it in 2nd, and just gunned it, it got to about 6K rpms and I just felt the car literally pull me forward. From reading other threads, I assumed this was the VTEC. Before reading those, I never knew what the VTEC was, but now I know, and confirmed for the first time in 14 months of having the car, that I used the VTEC yesterday. That was pretty cool, I thought you guys would enjoy that. So, yea, I smoked the guy and went on my merry way.
