It looks pretty good, congrats to you future 06 owners. Just about all the features of a TL with better handling and gas milage. Pretty sweet deal.
Now where is my 300hp, SH-AWD TL

CG is the same.... it always looked like a different color under the sun (and with different lighting conditions), that's why they called it a pearl color. With low light it looks like a dark gray with a bluish hue... under the sun, it's a lighter gray color, similar to the IS300's graphite gray

If the Magnesium Metallic available on the RSX was offered on the 06 I'd seriously consider a trade.
Other than that nice job. The car looks better in every conceivable way, well except the rims.
Luckily the 17" “High Performance” Sparkle Silver Alloy Wheels are avaulable at a very worthwhile $1,316.

Anyone else notice the "Quality & Durability" page says:
At its foundation, the TSX's body is built from lightweight aluminum and high-tensile steel...
I wonder if this is just bogus marketing-speak -- or is the hood or trunk now aluminum?

I noticed a few more changes:
Fuel economy of the 6MT went from 21/29mpg to 22/30mpg on the 2006.
The cooling system capacity on the 6MT went from 7.4 to 5.4 quarts on the 2006.
Oil capacity went from 5.3 to 4.2 quarts.
FYI, the 2005 specs are from acuranews.com .

What I want to know is where the extra 27 lbs has came from. Didn't the "official" weight stay the same from '04 to '05? If so, I bet part of this new weight on the '06s really isn't new and that it's from the power passenger seat added in '05.

I think for how much it is going up in price they should consider upping the quality.
I mean $30k for "leather trimmed", "leather-look", "metal-look", "wood-look" interior?
Even the acessories, like the steering wheel are "wood-look" and "metal-look" and "leather-look" and it's like $500!
I mean at least offer an option perhaps to get real wood, real metal, real leather,
instead of plastic and vinyl.

MSRP is $29,890 so I think anything above $28,500 is a little overpriced.

Acura engineers also designed a special "bumping door seal" that purposefully transmits a certain low-frequency vibration to the door itself. This desirable vibration is heard as a substantial sound as the door closes, evoking the impression of substance and quality.

I seriously think there are alot more choices out there for $1300, especially for 17"

adding real wood, real leather, real everything like u have suggested will probably bump the price of the TSX up to near TL level... and that would be stupid marketing

No tires and like Jason said no install. But if you want to keep a stock look the A-Spec of 5 stars are a great option. Probly better off buying them on e-bay.

Both the S40 and A4 get to $30k+ without any navigation system. A 2006 TSX w/ navi has a MSRP of less than $30k. If you don't want navi, then the TSX has a MSRP of less than $28k -- over $2k less than the competition.
#154
I never said that the TSX would be the same price.
Obviously the TSX is still cheaper, but you said to name cars under $30k.
The TSX is $27,890; the A4 is $29,760.
