For those who missed it, there's a total, very-cool-at-first-glimpse dark revamp of the entire Acura website that they may have accidentally previewed tonight for a few minutes... or that may be back up by the time I post this. Maybe I'll check first...
Nope, not yet... wonder when it will really debut?...

Heres the text im looking at:
Performance, styling and technology converge ever so gracefully in the 2006 Acura TSX. New front and rear bumper designs accentuate its aerodynamic prowess. And its upgraded 205-horsepower engine befits its trademark aggressive stance, a characteristic further complemented by new 17-inch, nine-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels. To keep you entertained, whether during spirited driving or standing still, its 8-speaker Premium Sound System invites your iPod® (or other MP3 player) to tag along, with an auxiliary jack that works seamlessly with the audio system from the center console.

I want that memory seat and ipod stuff and new dials so bad, but I still think that the rims are just too rounded and grandma-ish. The nose is kinda growing on me, but I still like my 04 better on the exterior. Who can pass up something that sounds like an S2000 though. If I had the money I would probably trade in, but make some serious visual modifications. hmmm....my car will begin to look outdated....

Pretty cool, looks like the stuff from the A spec concept.... silver steering wheel... but $499??
and the bodykit.... I think it looks ok.... need to see it it real person, but it does look like it has more details than the 04-05 ones...
and did I read "power lumbar support" somewhere? I want the memory seats with driver recognition...and the aux input!

There are still a few 05's left at most dealerships, and my guess is that unless you have made a deposit to pre-order an 06, dealerships will stay pretty firm with the MSRP until all the 05's are gone, or at least until mid december or so.

What were they thinking??
Even the 2006 Honda Civic has an Integrated Key FOB.
I thought the TSX is suppose to be a luxury car?? Cant believe the Civic has a better feature then the TSX.

Brake Assist? And is the 1st picture Glacier Blue?
It's not a big deal to me, but is Brake Assist listed anywhere on the '06 Acura TSX page? I haven't noticed it, but it was listed on VTEC.net in the '06 press release. Maybe they just left it out by accident?
And, under "Gallery" is the 1st picture on the left the new Glacier Blue? If so, it looks nothing like the Glacier Blue on the "build" section.
Thanks.

Configure your optimal driving position with an 8-way power driver's seat. Controls allow you to move the seat up, down, backward, forward, and to change the pitch of the seat and back independently. And your remote key remembers your preferences, adjusting your seat to its recorded position as you unlock the driver's side door. A power-adjustable lumbar control is designed to compliment the curve of your lower back over a substantial vertical range.

I like this shot:
And I gotta say, the new Royal Blue Pearl...
... is making me think twice about the PWP I have on order.
A TSX in a new color would be one flippin' unique car... and do you realize the TSX now comes in three shades of blue? Blue must be the coming color...
And to tell the truth, my girlfriend loves deep blue but I convinced her to buy her new doublecab Tacoma in white a couple months back (full offroad 4x4 package, bless her heart), so maybe I should get the deep blue TSX to even things out...

From what I see on the site, RBP looks very nice. Personally though, I don't know if I would go with that color, only because I may get tired of it. Some colors look really nice on cars, but just aren't for me. I'm going with either Alabaster Silver or CG... it will be one of the hardest decisions I will ever make.
Did dealers stay close to MSRP when the 05s first arrived? I hope they'll be at least a little lenient with the 06s. But even with MSRP, it'll still be a much much better deal than what I got quoted for an IS250 yesterday!

I agree, the CG is one hell of a match for the TSX. The issue I have with it is that it looks so different depending on the lighting (which also happens to be one of the good features of CG) Every picture I see of CG looks like a different color, which is why it's so hard for me to decide. Sometimes it looks great, sometimes it looks just okay... ah, I can see it now: I'm standing in front of an Alabaster Silver and a CG parked side-by-side at the dealer and I'm going absolutely insane.

Maybe the accessory page pic from the updated website is a hint:
Or maybe it's the same as last year, I don't know. Looks the same to me. Perhaps it's a shade darker?
Still no real clue what the 'new plood' bit in the lit was...
