IPOD connectivity

IPOD connectivity
I'd like to connect my IPOD to my 2004 TSX sound system (factory).
I currently use an external FM transmitter, but I'm frustrated with the poor performance (I live in Houston and most radio freq. are taken).
Has anyone used an after market solution to connect directly to the IPOD? If yes, please let me know the details.
Such as:
- Unit name
- Installation requirements
- If you loose any capabilities (loose CD, control functions from the ster. wheel)
- Cost
Thanks,
Jeff

The audio and video seciton should answer all your question. But to point you in the right direction:
The two I would suggest are if you have navi, get the Denison Icelink. Gives you steering wheel controls. About $200...
If you have a non-navi, go with the Blitzsafe HON/M-Link1 V.2. Controls are all from the iPod. About $80...
Both are pretty easy to install.

How about on an 06? I have read that it's easier and more functional on this year's version. I don't remember the name of the cable u can use now but if you just hook up your ipod with this cable, can you interact with your ipod via the head unit and the steering wheel controls? And just keep your ipod tucked away in the center console? Will the song titles and artists names etc be displayed on the head unit? It'd be nice to just be able to keep that ipod hidden and not have to access it at all when in use.
