I just saw my first Meteor Silver TSX on the road. NICE!!!!
Hello guys:
I have now seen the Meteor Silver twice. The first time I was not that impressed maybe because I saw it at the dealership and it had that protective wrapping on the hood and roof and trunk.
BUT TODAY!!! Well it is a different story. About 2 hrs ago, I saw one in the highway. Right before I saw it, I was pretty bummed out because there was a major traffic backup on State Road 826 here in Miami Florida. Stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, I was fuming.
After about 10 minutes, I look to my left and see this TSX that looks different than the ones I have seen on the road. But this one is not your typical TSX. It is not the regular silver but has a blueish tint. The paint was BEAUTIFUL. And this TSX, unlike the one I saw at the dealership, was exposed for all the world to see. I LOVED the color. My concern before seeing it was that it would be a color reserved for women. After seeing in person, I have changed my mind. I can definitely see myself driving that thing.
The pictures that I have seen don't do it justice. The color must be seen in person. It was great. I can't think of any car companies that are using that color. The one that comes closest maybe is Jaguar. My love for the TSX has been reenergized. I AM GLAD I got stuck in traffic today. Otherwise, I would not have seen that SHARPPPP TSX.

I have the MSM, and I'm a man. It doens't feel feminine to me. And, yes, it has the quartz interior. But, I see that as an advantage. That is my favorite color for the interior, not too light and not too dark.

I think I would have chosen MSM if it had been available when I wanted it. Except I've said the same about 1 or 2 other colors too.
The TSX colors just are so great that you can't go wrong. Have we seen ANYONE who wasn't thrilled with their color? Originally I wasn't at all keen on Carbon Gray -- I picked it because it was one of the two colors that I could get real fast and I was desperate for the car. But within about 1 minute of getting the car, I loved the color. And I've been thrilled with it.

I love the Carbon Gray, and that was actually my second choice. Very classly looking, and kind of aggressive without being a done as black.
I really like the Blue as well. That is a pretty unique color, and very flashy.

The color I REALLY would've picked is one that doesn't exist: the GOLD from the old Legend. They must have thought that just wouldn't work well on the TSX. Or, maybe they think it's just outdated. The current TL doesn't come in it either.

I have a teal green Accord coupe years ago. That was a great color for a car. I'm surprised the TSX doens't come in any shades of green.

P.S. The post you want to see is the one from today, 8/23. For some reason the link seems to go just to the beginning of that thread. (I suck too!)
(Actually, not my fault! I did the link right. For some reason, post links sometimes don't take you to exactly the right place.)

My MSM's on the boat now ... should be getting in mid-Sept.
I really love this color ... mainly because it's different. There's lots of grey and black out there (no offense-- they are cool colors, obviously, 'cause so many folks like 'em!).

I finally saw the MSM today too. Checked out a dealership down south, and they were using at as their courtesy car. I like it, and I like the interior contrast of the black dash and quartz grey leather that it comes with. The MSM's classy and unique, though sometimes I think the color's a bit too subtle.
On the way home, I saw the Arctic Blue.. looked awesome zooming past. I think the blue looks great in sunshine. I find it to be a bit blah or dullish/flat on overcast days.. but when it's sunny out.. it's a very yummy color!
Btw, why would any dealer make the TSX their courtesy car.. a car that they can make a lot of money on, and it's not as if they need to advertise the car to future costumers? I don't get it.. perhaps they made it the courtesy car before they realized what the demand would be like.
I'm thinkin' of making an offer for it, IF it can be had for a great price. Still leery of all those drivers using it though.

Wow. 17 responses in only the first day and on a Saturday no less. This is indeed the place to be for TSX discussion on the internet.
Also great selection of smiley faces.
Thanks guys.

Yes, the Milano Red is REALLY flashy. I saw one a couple weeks ago. It's a plain bold bright red. (Please take no office about my use of "flashy". I might like a flashy color, but I would prefer something less flashy.)
I hadn't thought about Copper or Gold. Interesting!
I recall some Accord greens from a 5-15 years ago. Some recent ones had a pale greyness hint, and some had a cyan bias. I would prefer a purer darker green. I would like the TSX in a metal version of British Racing Green or a forest green. Some of the VW's have a nice dark green, as does the RSX.

Glad to finally see some positive viewpoints about MSM. I get tired of defending this great and rare color, and it doesn't help that I'm a woman! I've always felt the neutral colors (black, white, silver and CG) are all great colors for the TSX but way too common on the road considering all the other cars that come in those colors. IMHO, not fond of the TSX in red. Would've liked a slightly deeper blue (like the Accords)...AB looks more like the WRX blue. Would've actually preferred a slightly darker MSM, more like the BMW steel blue.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this color, especially how it looks with the Quartz and faux alum interior. (And it makes the blue interior lights look fantastic!)

I was staritng to thinkt hat my car was completely unique, and then a I went to this singles events for yuppies. Mostly young people with disposable incomes. There were three TSX's parked in a one block area!

I just saw my first tsx on the road here other than at a dealer and it was meteor silver. This one had a spoiler on it and was driven by a very short girl. I liked the look of it a lot, probably would have been my second choice.

I also got a MSM TSX yesterday
Hey ... MSM was my choice for the lovely TSX.
Just drove out of the dealer yesterday and I think the MSM color is really cool.
I've seen a lot of people staring at our car.

I waited three agonizingly long weeks to get my MSM, but boy was it worth it! It looks great night and day, but I just love the way it shines in the sun. I had the windows tinted this past weekend and wow, is she a knockout! I'm in love!

I got 35% Solargaurd tint on all 5 windows, I love the way it looks. I didn't want to go too dark either as I didn't want it to stand out too much against the light colored body.

No it's not legal, but I could not bear to do the half tint. My bf's tints are darker than mine and he hasn't been pulled over yet so I'm crossing my fingers. Besides, as tints go, 35% is pretty tame in my opinion.
