if everyone can post what they've been averaging (assuming you're keeping track, of course) and what % city vs. highway driving, and finally, AT or MT.
I'm comtemplating purchasing the TSX, so I'm looking for some feedback on this topic.
thaks.
err. make that thanks!

1. My absolute best yet: 683.75 miles with 19 gals for 36mpg. 90% road, 10% city.
2. My absolutes worst: Don't know, but I would guess in the areas of 28mpg
I got a 6MT.

Around town (which is 90% of my driving) I get 23-24 MPG on a very consistent basis.
When I went on my trip to Cleveland last month, I got 32-33 MPG on all 4 tanks of gas that I went through. I am very pleased with this.

I've been very happy with the MPG of my 5 week old TSX and I'm sure it will just get better.
On a recent 1500 mile trip, I averaged over 31 MPG (on multiple legs) for full highway driving with A/C on (usually set around 72-74), cruise normally set around 75 mph and with a MT.
Around home I normally average about 75/25% highway/city and get 24 MPG.
And I typically fill up at either Phillips or BP/Amoco with their premium (92/93).

thanks for the response so far everyone!
And I did look for other threads on this topic, going back 9 pages or so, and didn't see one.. (as I hate to be one of those people who show up and expect everyone else to dig up the info for you. I'll check out those other threads too).
Mileage vs. premium fuel requirement is one of many factors I'm weighing on this car. If the mileage is high enough compared to what I'm shopping this car against (which takes regular fuel but achieves lower MPG), then the higher fuel cost (20c per gallon by me) won't be a factor.
btw, this is a very active board for a not very big car ownership group!

Pretty impressive for a car with a 17-gallon tank!

Since I got my car about 3000 km ago, I have filled up 12 times.
Best: 27.35 US MPG 90% highway.
Worst: 20.56 US MPG (all city)
Average over 12 tanks: 23.5 US MPG
I'm looking forward to an improvement as the car breaks in (and has an oil change done), but I'm generally very impressed with the performance to economy ratio.

I did a 480 mile tour of Ohio this past Sunday and according to the trip computer I got just over 34 MPG. The vast majority of driving was on the freeway.

I know this is true for highway driving at 70-80 mph, the RPMs on the manual are 3000-3500, while on the auto they're 2500-3000.

Mine is new so I've only bought one tank so far. I got 25 mpg in mixed driving, mostly highway but I got stuck in traffic one day and took 20 - 30 minutes to go about 3 miles. I'm sure that had a negative impact on my mileage not to mention wearing out my clutch foot. I expect it to get better as the car is broken in.
By the way, I drove about 50 miles with the low fuel light on and even then the tank would only take 15 gallons.

I've only filled up twice so far, and each time average high 25s. This is based on commuter traffic (stop and go fwy and streets), plus taking into account my lead foot (80-90 when traffic allows), A/C and/or sunroof open.
Perhaps the mpgs get better (or worse?) when the stereo is cranked?
My 5AT hums at 80 and rarely passes 3000 rpm (usually runs around 2500).
