How much you put down and what is your APR and monthly payment????
I have a 1996 Acura Integra GS-R Coupe. I had it for the past 5 years and I seriously need to upgrade soon. Its a trouble free car which I love. But I'm getting older and out-grown the car.
Next year I will probably be buying a 2006 TSX. I had my mind set on a 2006 Lexus IS250 but It will probably cost around $35k out the door for one.
I'm still a student so I dont want a really expensive car right now. I think the TSX would be ideal for me and within my price range. I will still LOVE to have a IS250 but i'm to broke now to own one.
So my question is to the people who purchased the TSX new. What did you put down, what is your APR and who you fianced with. And what is your monthly payment??
I will most likely put btw $15-18k down. I want my payment to be as low as possible.

I calculated and if I put $18k down and get the car for $25,500 my payment would be just under $200/month. Or in the low $200's depending on my APR.

There are no definites, but if the IS250 is your dream car right now, i doubt its gonna cost 35K. i'm sure the 06 tsx price is gonna go up a little from what it is now, the cost difference between the two might not be as astronimical as you think.
Invoice on a 2005 IS is a little over 26K, its gonna go up, but not 9 grand

I like the TSX, eventhough its not my dream car I would like the car very much. Hey I still like my 96 Acura Integra, its in top notch shape. I dont think you can find a clear stock 96 integra like him elsewhere.
Yes the IS250 is a very nice car, but I think its to nice for me at my age and point of life. I'm still in school. I need to apply for grad school so I might be relocating for that, etc.
I think the IS250 pricing will start btw $32-33k. I would rather get a TSX for 25-26k and pocket the the 7k and wait till I get my career started.

Yeah plus once you start adding packages, the price goes up a lot. That's what makes the TSX such a desirable car for us college students, at least that's how I see it. I, too, would like an IS250, but I can't afford it =\

$5k down payment, 4.9% apr, payments are $500 monthly for 5 years. Im paying $1,000 month since I got the car (3 payments), so that should knock it down quite a bit. I figure I'll pay $1,000 month for the first year and evaluate where Im at. I want this thing paid off in 3 years, so I can give it to my parents or sister, or trade it in.

Why don't you just keep your car until you graduate? I'd wait if I was you and then once you get a good stable job, then buy the car of your dreams instead of one you just like. Just my .02$

$11k down, 3.84%apr(my loan is through one of my businesses and that's the lowest interest they will offer a business) payment is $300/month for 60 months.

I walked in with 4.04% check in hand and walk out with 3.54% with 0 down @ $574 a month. If you are preapprove before you go there, you have the barginging power. Thats how I walked out with 3.54% because the finance manager want to haggle with me so I walked out the door and the saleman went and got his GM. The GM gave me .5% of his interest from my original 4.04 to begin with.

IMO you should keep the Integra and get the car you really want once more firmly established.
At the very least wait for IS250 pricing to be released which should be soon. I'm betting on a 2-3K difference wich is a small price to pay for the car you really want.
