How much smaller is the 04 Tsx than the 04 Us Accord?
The first thing I noticed when I got rid of the 99 Accord vs. the Tsx was the Tsx is thinner and shorter than the 6th gen Accord. Just wondered though how much shorter, thinner, and smaller is the Tsx compared to the new 7th gen 03-04 Accord sedans? I was thinking of getting the new Accords before Tsx, but I never fell in love with the ugly backend of the new ones, don't you agree?

From my feel for the car, I think it's about the size of previous gen Accords, probably the 5th(?) gen Accords (the ones with the really big tail lights).

IMO, the USDM Accord "feels" a lot bigger inside than the TSX. Its only a matter of inches at the end of the day, but the inches matter a lot. Width wise, the USDM Accord is 71.5 inches vs. the TSX's 69.4 inches. That may not seem like much, but in automobile terms, that is a very significant difference. Lengthwise, the difference is also substantial (189.5 vs 183.3) as is the trunksize (13.0 vs. 14). The USDM Accord sedan does offer more space.
If handling, looks, and interior comfort are your priorities, go with the TSX.
But, if Space is a major issue, the USDM Accord is the better buy.

Strangely, even though it is smaller in size, the TSX weighs more than the Accord. I think it is about 100 pounds heavier. Is this correct? I wonder what makes the TSX weigh more? Is it the suspension? engine? Transmission?
