How much longer until we find out the exact invoice price for 2005?

I need this to leverage my negotiating with the dealers. Some say it's 500 more than last year but is that for certain?

You mean your dealer will give you a break just cause you know the invoice?

with this car, no matter what, even if u know the know the invoice. you think u r in control? heck no. the seller is in control when a hot item is under limited production, where more buyers than the products they have on the lot. For example. if are the owner of a store, you know u only have three or four coming in each month, will you give it away? it is call show me the money, if you dont want to buy it at close to msrp, it is call "next in line please". because i dont have much coming, and others will pay for it. Just like the Odyssey, they are all pre sold before they hit the lot. that is call hot and limited supplies. I paid full msrp plus tax and lic on my 2001 Odyssey. i know the VP and Fleet Dept, even Credit Union Director! well there is nothing they can do, if you the boss, will u give it away to your friend? who dont like more money? the issue is that there is a line of people who will pay full msrp for it. so they dont care if you dont want it.

Not necessarily, but there's a sense of assurance once you know what the invoice is.

Anyways, the invoice should be similar to the 04 models, there shouldn't be a big difference.

MY guess is somewhere around $25,000~25,200???

It depends on your market. Dealers in the central CT area have been selling TSXs close to invoice for several months, and most of them still have 04s on the lot. The 05 doesn't add enough that demand is all of a sudden going to soar.

I'm fairly confident that I could get an 05 for invoice. And my guess is that the invoice price went up $400.........

I emailed my a dealer in Lakeland FL and asked if they would contact me when they got a 2005 TSX 6mt with Navi so I could drive it. They sent me back a email with a price on a 2005. $25,950 +tax+tag+Destination fee and Dealer fee. I would assume that is a 2005 without navi. What is the dealer fee? That was their special internet price good for 2 weeks. That is about $1000 below MSRP. They don't have any yet though.

Please give an update when you hear something. I'm in the Tampa/Clearwater area and I'm looking for the same thing. I'd like to hear what they come back with and which dealer it is. Thanks!

I actually live closer to the Ferman Acura in Tampa. My wife and I went there to look at a TSX and ran in to the worst salesman ever. He didn't even want to unlock the car so we could get in it! I will never go back there. He also told me that they don't order 6mt because no one wants them. The dealership in Lakeland (there is only one) is Regal Automotive group. I am not quite ready to purchase a car yet. I emailed them off the Acura web site.

Back to the original question...

When I went to the RL grand opening at Buerkle Acura here near Minneapolis, Jon Brennecke the internet sales manager, who I deal with there, told me that it was fact that the 2005 TSX would have $500 added on to it. In addition, the acura website already has this price listed, so there you have it. It is no longer rumor.

The MSRP has been known for a week - that's not news.

There's still no invoice known for sure - just a guess that it went up the same as the MSRP.

Edmunds is usually pretty good at posting the numbers - but still nothing on the 05.
