How much do you guys pay for your maintenance being done at the dealership?

I just moved to North Carolina and I'm about ready for my first oil change / maintenance. I went to Performance Acura and the manager tried to sell me this package of maintenance services for $843. He claims it will cover my car for up to 45k miles.

The package pretty much goes like this :
5k miles - change oil / filter. rotate tires
10k miles - change oil / filter . rotate tires
15k miles - major service where they inspect everything and check everything + the normal oil and filter change + rotate tires
20k miles - change oil / filter
etc etc

This is slightly different from my "Maintenance Minder" that is listed in my 06 manual. Does this program sound like something I should do or should I just wait for my car to tell me to do something?

Does the price, $843 upfront for all the services, sound reasonable?

i think it's a ok deal if you go to dealer all the time.....
30K maintainance is like 300+ or 600+ forgot.....(i think it's more like 360.00 but not sure)
all the small one are like 90 bucks...

45k is probably another big one....

-----------------
btw tire rotation + oil change + inspection in good year is like 12.99 after coupon

They probably do inspect...since these people always try to find something wrong so they can charge you for it....

FYI

How much is the major one? My first 2 ones in the dealer are free and I don't want to waste 'em on oil changes if the major one (15k mark) is major $$$.

I've paid to have a couple of oil changes done at the stealer, and I've had some minor warranty work done. The oil changes are so overpriced, I've ceased having them done there.

Based on the warranty work, I don't have a ton of confidence in their work.
