How do you keep the radio on with doors open without fans on?

How do you keep the radio on with doors open without fans on?
I turn the key but don't start the engine....this starts some kind of fan under my hood.
If I turn my car on, then turn it off, the radio will still play, but if i open a door, it will beep saying the door is open.....
how do I keep the doors open and the car off except for the radio?
