Since Hondata themselves make you sign a release indicating the product isn't EPA/CARB certified (and in fact not even guaranteed to be street legal), it seems clear that their performance tweaking must have some emissions impact. You probably wouldn't fail an emissions test done under idle or low RPM/low load conditions, though.

just go get it done when she's not looking, but make sure there's something nice and shiny and diamond-like in the "not an ashtray" for when she realizes what you've done...
