You mean so you can ensure you leave your lights on when you have to turn them on in the rain during the day?

I think it is annoying by design

But I am sure one of our electrical guru's can help you out ...

I leave my lights on 24/7. Everytime you open the door it beeps. When you have the keys in the ignition and the door open it beeps. Its really loud and I want to make it stop.

I guess turning the lights off would be the obvious answer.

And do you know what the best part of this is??
You don't have to turn your lights off!
When you exit the car and leave the lights on, 10-15 seconds
later they shut off on their own.
You gotta wonder why they emphasized the beep.

Because it's ridiculous to leave your lights on 24/7. Even if you do have an auto-off feature.

Hmm. When I saw the title of this thread "How can I make the beeping stop?" my natureal response was "stop hitting the horn." But, I guess that won't do it here!

I had a conversation with my Doc that was very similar to this.

"Doc, it hurts when I do this, how can I make it stop" his reply, "don't do that."
