just want to know that why we have to push the button on the key twice in order to hear the horn sound when locking the door. what's the different when you push it once and twice? sometimes i just want to make sure that all the doors are lock that's why i push it the 2nd time to hear the horn to confirm. is this what it's for?
What Would Don Draper Do?

The horn sound also means the the alarm is activated. Alarm doesn't activate until 30 seconds after the first push if only pushed once. If pushed twice the alarm is activated immediatley. The option is there for those who do not want the sound when lockking the doors to have the ability to just hit the button once.

The horn sound is also intended to act as a locating method for finding your car. If you don't remember where you parked, then hitting the "Lock" button allows you to sound the horn and flash the parking lights which should, in theory, help you locate your parked car.

I believe the second press activates a deadlock. That way if someone smashes the glass, they still can't open the door. It may also have something to do with the alarm.

The honk on the second press is just a honk. There are no extra security features activated when you press a second time.
