Honda financial Services
Just a word to people NOT to use Honda financial services.
I'm military stationed currently in South Korea. We traded in our durango to get a TSX prior to our move to our next duty station in Germany. Prior to trading, I informed my wife to inform the dealer about the impending move, and ask PRIOR to the deal if there would be any problem obtaining permission from the lein holder to ship the vehicle...dealer said no problem.
Now American Honda Financial comes up with the requirement to pay 6 months worth of payments up front before they would allow us to ship the car. Despite being informed (as they were) of our credit worthiness (every car we have owned was paid off early), the military rank I hold (officer selected for promotion), and the security clearance I also hold (defaulting on a loan is cause to lose your clearance), they are still holding on this requirement. To me, this indicates Honda financials military unfriendliness and bias against those serving.
Those of you who have not purchased your car yet, please use an alternative source for financing other than Honda financial services. Thank You

HOOOAH and AMEN! Sorry they are not being more flexible.
Did you consider taking the Durango over there and selling it? I wonder if the Euros would be in the market for that. We own both a Durango and TSX and are considering the same.
